OO Architecture is an architectural practice dedicated to exploring architecture's critical capacity through deliberate acts of drawing and making. By expanding the versatility of design methods and representational techniques, the practice aims to unleash the generative potential within the design process, propelling projects into unforeseen territories.

Moon Joo Lee is the founding principal of OO Architecture and an Adjunct Professor at Hongik University. As a registered architect in South Korea and the state of Michigan, Lee draws upon extensive experience at architectural design firms across the U.S. and Canada. His work focuses on the perceptual and cultural intersections of architectural representation, aiming to reclaim the slow, contemplative act of drawing and making by hand as vital to contemporary discourse. Lee consistently makes time to read, write, draw, and make, believing these four acts enable meaningful cultural contributions through his practice and conversations with colleagues and students.

Lee was a 2024 Art Omi: Architecture fellow and a participating artist in the 2025 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism. A recipient of multiple awards from the Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition, he holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Architecture from Hongik University.
